WELLINGTON is permanently moored at Vicoria embankment on The River Thames. While you can feel movement from the river underneath the ship, WELLINGTON is permanently moored and has had the engine removed to make for a perfect static land/water hybrid venue.

You are able to hire out multiple of the suites on board or the entire venue.

One member of security per 50 guests, or less, is essential. If you are unsure on an exact number of guests, an estimation rounding to a multiple of 50 will allow for a more accurate quote. Due to health and safety requirements security is essential no matter the size of party.

In order to keep your booking, we require a £400 deposit. This is to be paid upon booking and ensures you have secured your chosen date and time. Without deposit payment you will risk losing your slot.

Guaranteed reservations are only made once you have paid a deposit against your date. Bookings are made at a first come first serve basis.

WELLINGTON is semi Wheelchair accessible. Entry to WELLINGTON can be accommodated into the entry level deck –  the Samoa Suite. Built in 1934 as a service ship WELLINGTON unfortunately does not have full wheelchair accessibility due to the architectural structure. We do not have disabled toilet access.

Yes, we offer a range of facilities for entertainment including a surround sound system compatible with an apple device or android. Please speak to a member of our team if you are unsure about how your device will connect.

You are welcome to bring your own entertainment in line with our health and safety and premises guidelines. Please enquire for more information and entertainment approval.

Yes, you are able to set up a variety of non permanent decorations for an event on board with us. Decorations must be easily dismantled and disposable. Any non disposable decorations will need to be dismantled and taken off board with your party upon event conclusion.

We do not have a cloakroom or lockers on site in constant operation. We do however, offer cloakroom hire for a fee which you can book with a member of our team. All items left at the lockers are at the individual discression of visitors.

No smoking is permitted inside the vessel. There are however designated open air spaces on and off board the WELLINGTON which are easily acsessed.

We can either provide an open bar with a pre-paid chosen budget alternatively you can have a full open bar with a bill payable at the end of your event on site, the latter will not be included in your quote.

Event cancellations need to be in writing and made 4 weeks ahead of your event date. All cancellations made within 4 weeks will be subject to deposit deduction and other charged incured. Please see our terms and conditions for a full comprehensive breakdown of our cancellation policy.
